We had a bride just last week say " I had no idea how I would look in a wedding dress and was so nervous about it...but I look GOOOODDD!!!" When you start your wedding dress search DO NOT be scared to say YES! Make appointments at 2-3 stores that fit your style and budget. (More to come on this subject!) When you make appointments at 5-10 stores, all those wedding dresses start running together and you get more overwhelmed. It is harder to choose and you really don't know what you love anymore. You then have to start the process all over again and make appointments at those multiple stores again just to narrow the list down. We see this every weekend at White and Lace, brides tell us they have been to 6 stores and they just don't know anything anymore! They just tell us to "HELP!!!". This gives you, the bride, more anxiety and end up not enjoying the process...and trust us...your loved ones don't either! This also pushes your timeline back on ordering your gown and depending on your wedding date there is sometimes no leeway.
